In the Insa-dong and Bukchon Hanok Village neighborhoods, I stumbled upon a treasure trove of charming craft boutiques and souvenir shops, where I discovered one-of-a-kind artisanal wares.
But the true highlight of my shopping excursions was exploring the Doota and Shinsegae department stores, where I was captivated by the sheer variety and quality of the merchandise. From high-end Korean fashion to cutting-edge electronics, these emporiums offered an immersive experience that transcended the typical shopping trip.

Whether I’m wandering through the historic hanok houses, trekking in the stunning Bukhansan National Park, or indulging in the city’s world-class cuisine, I’m consistently struck by the city’s ability to surprise and delight. Seoul is a true gem, a destination that seamlessly blends the past and the present, the sacred and the secular, the familiar and the exotic.
As I reluctantly prepare to depart, I know that I’ll be back. This city has a way of drawing you in, of captivating your senses and your soul.
